HR and Payroll Specialist

Do you want to become a member of Global HR structures of Arla and set the standards for administration and payroll? Then we have a position for you within payroll team in HR Operations for Poland. We are responsible for compensation and benefits, as well as administrative areas of HR.

As a  HR Administration and Payroll Specialist, you become a part of our Global Shared Services in Gdansk. Here, you won’t find factory machines or farmers. Instead, you will join over 500 colleagues dedicated to supporting all of Arla with IT, HR, financial and procurement operations. About the job

Being in a role of HR Administration and Payroll Specialist, you would represent HR function in terms of wide cooperation in the organization and with service providers.
Your primary responsibility and duties will be:

  • overseeing the documentation of employees – issuing contracts, annexes, civil contracts, securing its flow;
  • payroll process coordination and cooperation with payroll provider;
  • correct conducting administrative areas like health and safety, occupational medicine and time register;
  • internal clients support as a first point of contact;
  • administration of benefits;
  • HR reporting.


On top of that you will actively participate in HR projects and secure high quality level of performed processes.

Who are you?

You know the value of taking ownership and building trust - based relationships both with colleagues and other stakeholders. You are highly - motivated specialist, who wants to challenge with new opportunities in a global set up requiring frequent contact with customers and data analysis. Therefore, excellent communication skills and being open for change is crucial.

Furthermore, you have:

  • at least 2 years of experience within HR with focus on HR administration and payroll;
  • bachelor's degree in Human Resources, administration or related;
  • practical knowledge of employment legislation, HR procedures and policies;
  • fluent English;
  • ability to make best use of MS Office applications (Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
