About the job

As our new Finance Associate within Reporting & Analytics, you will work closely with other members of the team and stakeholders in a variety of tasks and activities related to internal reporting, BI and data & analytics developments for Finance community.

Your main priority is to secure critical global financial reporting, within agreed timeframe and as efficient as possible. You will also support Finance Analysts in various tasks.

Specifically, you will:

• Lead efficient delivery of regular critical global financial reporting and financial activities in a timely manner based on direction from stakeholders and business owners
• Create different types of reporting by developing Power BI & other digital solutions for Finance community
• Develop brand new Digital Finance Reporting & Analytics solutions, mostly with use of Microsoft Power Platform tools & newest technologies
• Compile and aggregate data into understandable reports and analysis
• Run reports from ERP systems to support analytical results and decision-making. Slice and dice data, as well as drill into data from reports, to reveal patterns that are not directly visible
• Support ongoing and ad-hoc requests and projects within Finance, Performance Management and Reporting area
• Work in Agile ways of working anchored for Finance purposes
• Work as part of the team to ensure Reporting & Analytics becomes and stays Arla Best Practice on Reporting/Analytics & Data within Finance.

Who are you?

• You have a good understanding of financial tools and practical experience in working with Power BI
• Few years of professional experience within Finance, Accounting or IT (big4 experience as an advantage)
• You are passionate about Digital Finance including AI & Automation
• You have strong analytical skills and good communication skills
• You enjoy building positive relationship with stakeholders and within the team
• You are able to work under time pressure in challenging and changeable environment

Furthermore, you have

• Completed educational background in Accountancy/Finance/IT (or similar)
• Preferably strong analytical abilities and technical skills (i.e. Power Automate, Power Bi, Power Query, VBA, Robot Process Automation) or the willingness to learn
• Exceptional Microsoft Office skills, and a firm tool box on communication, presentation and spreadsheet work
• Knowledge of SAP BW and SAP BusinessObjects (or other ERP) as an advantage
• General understanding of Agile, Azure and Data Foundation concepts as an advantage
• Basic understanding of Agile principles as an advantage
• Fluency in English
