Trade & Customer Marketing Manager / Digital & eCommerce - Düsseldorf (Arla Pro)

This role is based in Germany.

About the job 

As our new Trade & Customer Marketing Manager,  you will support the local markets (Germany, Netherlands, France & Finland) in market analysis, such as the understanding of the Personas and the digital behaviors, in building their strategy for independent customers and in executing flawlessly their go-to-market strategy. Additionally, you will drive conversions with existing assortment in prioritized subchannels.

As part of this, you will take the lead on developing and implementing digital lead generating activities and campaigns to Attract, Acquire, Grow and Retain Independent QSR & FSR customers. You will  collaborate closely with Digital, Channel and Category teams along with the local marketing/sales teams and report to the Senior Channel Manager. In order to make clear your team also leads the attract part of the journey in winning independent customers digitally (WICD).

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Taking the lead in identifying, discussing and developing go-to-market strategies for prioritized subchannels according to the 3-2-1 strategy
  • Together with the markets, this role will develop and implement a yearly digital lead generation and generating demand campaigns’ calendar for each participating market as defined in the yearly business planning process
  • Mapping of customer journey and develop the digital campaign flow and timing to attract and acquire defined target customers in prioritized subchannels
  • Responsibility for the monthly progress update  via funnel management to secure effective conversions in the local markets
  • Engage with Global Big Bet owners to secure deliverables meet customer needs and leverages Value Selling

You can expect approximately 2-3 travel days to the local markets on a monthly basis.

 

Who are you? 

  • You have a relevant background in marketing, business administration, innovation or equivalent, and have relevant experience working with digital marketing and e-commerce.
  • We expect that you have worked several years within either Foodservice or the FMCG industry with digital campaigns/activities, e-commerce, marketing automation or similar.
  • You have strong project- and stakeholder management skills, as you will oversee campaigns across the local markets.
  • As English is our corporate language, good working proficiency is required.
  • You have a digital mindset and see yourself as a super-user in digital tools like Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce.
  • Not least, you are diligent and collaborative, as success in this role depends on effective processes across teams and locations.
