Content Studio Manager

We want to establish a Content Studio in Düsseldorf in order to bring - after digital media buying - also digital content creation in-house. From here we will work with our agile digital content model tailored to enable our digital marketing plans in Germany for our local brands. As our Studio Manager, you are responsible for managing all of the processes taking place in the Content Studio and setting the standard for effective creative production excellence.

 

Your challenge

As our content studio lead, you will take on both a team lead and project manager role.

You will

  • Build our internal agency start up in the first step by recruiting the creative talents for your team as well as identifying requirements for production equipment and studio location
  • Develop and run agile production processes as well as manage studio timings, budgets and deliverables to secure a cost-effective creative delivery process
  • Manage creative and production excellence and ensure consistency (TOV, brand guidelines, playbooks etc.) for all assets and outputs
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external content and creative specialists on project requirements across multiple brands 
  • Educate internal stakeholders on the production processes for digital content (web, video, blogs, social, mobile, animations, native, news, intranet, portals etc.) and strategical outputs

 

Your profile

This position requires being able to strike the balance between fostering engagement and a creative culture and hard deadlines and budgets. It is therefore important that you possess solid process implementation and management skills as well as the ability to inspire others. Likewise, great communication and stakeholder management skills are needed as you will be the one to create a strong network that we can rely on.  

 

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role with responsibility in managing digital creative campaign production processes, ideally within FMCG 
  • Strong people management, resource and budget planning as well as project management skills
  • Experience of digital content creation (web, video, blogs, social, mobile, animations, native, news, intranet, portals etc.)
  • Solid understanding of design, brand identity and playbook implementation
  • Knowledge of how different digital channels contribute in the media-mix and can be purposed for campaign and always-on communication
  • Experience from working data driven
  • Understanding of editorial working methods, content calendars, digital asset management, collaborative spaces, file sharing etc.
  • An established network amongst creative talents  
  • Fluent in German and English
