Do you want to boost your career in packaging graphic designing in a dynamic and global FMCG company? The join us as Regional Graphic Designer. The role is based in our regional office reporting to Head of MENA Product Management.

 

In this role you will be responsible for :

  • Leads artwork development process for Arla packaging in collaboration with internal stake holders, design agencies and printers
  • In charge of new design development as well as existing design adaptation onto Arla packs
  • Owns packaging adaptations including re-design, pack re-size, on-pack text changes etc.
  • Ensures artwork conformance with the relevant brand guidelines
  • Knowledgeable in printer capabilities; facilitates printer collaboration to ensure packaging graphics can be executed to meet the desired outcome
  • Oversees supplier proof/ Chroma line approval process and collaborates with printers to request first packaging run samples needed to build and maintain packaging library
  • Attends print runs as required
  • Drives continuous improvement by reviewing the design across the portfolio/ markets for synergy and consistency purposes. Identifies gaps, inconsistencies and proposes solutions
  • Creates 3D pack shots
  • Supports internal teams with videography creation and editing, LinkedIn posts and newsletters creation etc.
  • Executes Arla office branding projects in collaboration with local markets and external suppliers
  • Leads the internal rollout of Artwork flow system and acts as Superuser for internal and external stakeholders
  • Designs various POSM materials such as leaflets, flyers, vouchers, catalogues etc.
  • Adapts designs for E-com banners, outdoor design (billboards, lamp posts) etc.
  • Examines existing processes, identifies flaws, and creates solutions that improve design capabilities
  • Defines vision and sets direction for the Graphic design function at Arla MENA

 

Ideal Candidate should have :

  • Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or related field
  • Five or more years of experience in professional graphic design, with three years preferably in a FMCG business/ creative or marketing agency
  • High level of creativity and innovative design skills
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details
  • Proficiency in Arabic & English language (both written and spoken)
  • Proficiency in design softwares, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Java Script
  • Experienced in using AI tools
  • Photography experience and proficiency with photo-editing softwares
  • Must have excellent organizational skills , attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, leadership and follow-up skills
  • Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to learn other software programs
