Would you like to help shape the marketing strategies of a global organisation and how these come to life across different channels such as YouTube, Instagram and Facebook? Do you want to work with established brands such as Puck, Lurpak and the Arla brand?

  

Based at our MENA head office in Dubai, you will become a part of Arla’s in-house agency, The Barn. We are a team of 14 colleagues dedicated to the building media strategies & plans, creation of content for digital channels, and executing all digital campaigns.

About the job

We are looking for a strategic and analytical Digital Media Planner to lead digital media strategies & planning that align with brand objectives. You will collaborate closely with the offline media team to ensure seamless consumer journeys across channels, analyse performance, uncover insights and recommendations. You will also play a key role in identifying innovative digital formats and working alongside influencer marketing to amplify brand impact.

 

As a part of our team, you will:

·       Develop integrated digital media strategies aligned with marketing objectives, brand positioning, and target audiences.

·       Collaborate with offline media team to design a holistic media approach across the full consumer journey (upper, mid, and lower funnel).

·       Craft digital plans with a clear rationale justifying the choice of channels, selection of buying model, targeting and optimization with respect to the marketing KPIs at hand.

·       Explore and recommend innovative media formats, placements, and emerging platforms to keep media plans modern and engaging.

·       Partner with influencer marketing team to identify the right creators, align on campaign briefs, and integrate influencer content into media plans.

·       Work with creative and brand teams to ensure media strategy is well reflected in assets and messaging.

·       Manage relationships with media agencies and digital platforms to ensure effective execution and reporting.

·       Stay up to date with digital trends, platform updates, and competitor media activity.

·       Understand findings from MMM studies and BLS studies

·       Gather insights from ongoing campaign reports and showcase how those insights are being utilized to optimize future campaigns.

 

Who are you?

You have 3-4 years of experience in digital media planning, preferably within the FMCG industry. You have strong strategic and analytical skills and are good with stakeholder management. It is also vital that you are tenacious, with a drive to get things done.
Furthermore, you:

·       Have experience developing media campaign strategies in line with marketing jobs to be done, including influencer marketing, social & video platforms, and display.

·       Have experience working with offline media planning team to deliver a full narrative of the media performance campaigns.

·       Capable of analysing performance of campaigns when it comes to Reach, engagement, consumer sentiment, brand health metric uplift.  

·       Fluent in English, Arabic is an advantage
