Arla Foods is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Customer Growth Manager to join our team and have the exciting opportunity to drive customer growth and build strong business relationships.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with strategic customers, tailoring the company category strategies to meet their needs and driving mutual growth.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, analyse market and customer data to identify issues and growth opportunities.
  • Conduct regular meetings with customers to address concerns, provide product and category updates, and propose new action plans to drive growth.
  • Monitor sales performance, track key indicators, and prepare monthly reports for both customers and management.
  • Collaborate with the Category Development team and Key Account Managers to co-lead annual Joint Business Planning sessions, focusing on building and driving strategic projects & growth opportunities.
  • Drive strategic category growth initiatives such as CATMANs, becoming the key sponsor for both the organization and the customer.
  • Customize the 4P strategy to align with the customer shopper profile, manage the portfolio mix, define the MSLs, and drive customer-specific Perfect Store layouts and in-store activations.
  • Lead the identification of optimal seasonality and promotional mechanics to drive profitable growth, developing customized plans that align with the objectives of customers and the organization, while ensuring shopper satisfaction.
  • Lead the development and execution of specific customer events that continuously drive mutual growth while ensuring optimal cross-functional collaboration.
     

Your specific tasks:

  • Strategic Leadership: Leading Customer Joint Business Planning (JBP) sessions and aligning key category projects to drive strategic growth opportunities.
  • Promotional Planning and Evaluation: Building customized promotional plans by customer and category, and evaluating the ROI and effectiveness of key projects and activations.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Establishing and nurturing external relationships with customer stakeholders as a critical success factor in achieving business objectives.
  • Strategic Solution Development: Identifying and co-owning customer strategies to drive a customized solution agenda, collaborating with the category development team to drive innovative growth opportunities .
  • Innovation catalyst: Leading collaborative ventures with strategic customers to fulfil Arla's sustainability and innovation agendas, driving positive impact and differentiation.

 

Your Profile:

  • Proven experience of 5-8 years in proactively driving business/commercial development, category management, or sales within the FMCG industry.
  • Business Development Mindset: Proactively driving business and commercial agenda.
  • Strategic Thinking: Expertise in channel and customer dynamics to create growth opportunities for Arla, the category, and the customer.
  • Creative Problem Solving: Pragmatic and innovative approach to problem-solving.
  • Strategic Alignment: Expertly aligning Arla's commercial objectives with customer's long-term strategy and short-term targets.
  • Excellent Analytical Capabilities: Proficiency in data retrieval, analysis, and generating insights using Nielsen & EPOS data.
