About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food Service Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a group of customers to achieve designated sales targets and develop profitable business with new clients. This role involves leveraging detailed category and product knowledge to support our clients effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and executes local market-specific marketing activities including but not limited to exhibitions, product launches, distributor events, training, and summit. You would also support in creation and execution of master classes for customers Develop new business opportunities and expand sales by introducing new products/services.
- Deliver 5 Year Innovation & Strategy and Business Plan for Arla Pro and Food Service MENA. Compiles user insights on Arla's portfolio and coordinates with Market Heads, NPD, and regional chefs to support NPDs.
- Lead the Stage-Gate process on Arla Pro. MENA (with Reg. Application, PM, and category lead)
- Lead and develop Arla Pro’s digital agenda by working with digital agencies and internal stakeholders to implement the annual calendar and related content. Analyse channel insights and research reports to improve social media and webpage performance.
- Create a toolkit for the distributor partners for effective communication related to the products with the local Chef community.
- Manage payables and collections within the assigned area.
- Focus on QSR Key Accounts and Airlines, including McDonald’s and Sterling Group’s QACC.
- Enhance the absolute SC and Nr/KG for key accounts.
Qualification:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Foodservice Sales role in Qatar.
- Previous hospitality experience is advantageous.
- Dairy industry knowledge is an advantage.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Positive attitude and basic financial understanding.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Arabic language skills are an advantage but not essential.
