Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer - Taw Valley

What the role entails

    • Conducts and improves predictive maintenance of Line equipment.
    • Conducts corrective maintenance in case of site equipment faiLure and breakdown. Secures that relevant spare parts and materials are in place.
    • Communicates effectively to report on status of Lines and equipment.
    • Completes and updates pLant maintenance records compLying with aLL departmental procedures. Performs aLL activities in accordance with company and statutory requirements in order to provide a safe and compliant workplace.
    • Utilizes CMMS systems and reporting suites.
    • Observing and evaluating equipment and pLant conditions. Completes root cause anaLysis with reLevant site teams.
    • Defines key process parameters and ranges yielding optimal OEE. Supports the implementation of maintenance excellence.
    • Embraces knowledge sharing to deveLop skiLLs and strengthen the team.
    • ArLa Foods DigitaL agenda is adhered to and surpassed within the reLevant guideLines


What do I need?


  • Strong experience as a multiskilled, preferably Electrical biased, engineer (shift engineer/ maintenance engineer/ engineering technician)
  • Experience in mechanical and electrical engineering within Manufacturing, Production and Process environments
  • HNc or apprentice trained or proven experience with fast paced manufacturing environment
  • Ideally you will have experience with fast- moving machinery, pumps, valves, PLC’s (Siemens), Site Services (steam generation plant, chilled water systems, compressors, waste water treatment processes), CIP systems (chemical cleaning plant)
  • Computer literate – SAP, Microsoft Office, SCADA, Trend systems, HMI’s
