If so, Join us in Arla Foods Iraq, working from our Baghdad office as our new IT Specialist, where you will manage regional support tasks including resolving incidents, monitoring KPIs, ensuring service reliability, and coordinating tools, vendors, and processes efficiently.
How would you make an impact
- Appreciates and understand diverse incident and problem resolutions within some areas, whilst demonstrating strong analytical skills combined with a strong knowledge of the subject area and with the ability to service senior stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Implements and maintains the regional support according to the IT strategy.
- Handles tasks of some complexity and takes business needs into consideration, while working in a structured way and assesses the tasks with right balance between solution/detail perspective.
- Implements and maintains department objectives and roadmap.
- Implements relevant parts of the IT service catalogue.
- Manages daily regional support activities.
- Manages regional assets and develops and maintains descriptions.
- Implements complementary processes, methods and tools needed for regional support.
- Ensures processes, methods and tools are followed regionally.
- Participates in selected programmes/projects.
- Proactively monitors regional performance according to the decided strategy.
- Executes regional services according to IT security/risk management processes, policies and guidelines.
- Collects KPI data and conducts continuous improvement analyses for related KPIs.
- Manages relationships with regional vendors, including support and maintenance contract management and performance follow-up.
- Participates in external knowledge communities.
Competencies we are looking for
- Broad knowledge of service and support processes, methods and tools.
- Strong knowledge of IT technologies and IT systems, and Arla Foods' IT infrastructure and technical documentation - certified by Microsoft/SAP or similar training provider.
- Good ITIL understanding & Strong in end user usage of IT systems.
- Technical education at Bachelor's level or equivalent experience (3-5 years).
- Expert in technical documentation and end user usage of IT systems.
- Strong business process knowledge and strong ITIL understanding.
