Tet Return Operator - Aylesbury
Job Purpose
To control supply of Tets to Production and Coldstore. Unload tets from vehicles returning to the Dairy and to manage segregation and removal of third party and damaged Tets.
Scope
You will be part of a high performance team both delivering and supporting other functions to meet challenging team and personal goals.
Responsibilities
- Unload Tets from vehicles returned to the Dairy from customers and Tet storage
- Handle product returns in preparation for recycling
- Move and store Tets in preparation for Production
- Operate Tet denester / washer and in feed conveyor to EOL Trolley Packers
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of Tets in line with Production schedules
- Deliver Tets to Coldstore in line with Despatch schedules
- Schedule work load to ensure efficient Tet supply across the Dairy
- Ensure full completion of daily targets
- Ensure departmental procedures are followed and records maintained
- Maintain strict Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards within the department
- Actively promote communication links and good working relationships with colleagues
- Monitor equipment performance and correct / raise issues before they become problems
- Perform basic maintenance tasks and fault diagnosis
- Undertake cleaning requirements in line with cleaning schedules
- Trolley Pusher operation, recharging and battery replacement ensuring availability for operation at all times
- Ability to work to a rotated shift pattern
- Maintain high standards of work ethics in respect of lateness and absence
- Any other duties commensurate with the grade
