Do you want to boost your career in a dynamic and global FMCG company? We are currently looking to recruit a Site EHS Specialist (with a strong focus on Environment) at our Aylesbury Dairy, which is the UK’s largest and most technologically advanced Fresh Milk production facility, producing 1 billion litres of milk per year. Reporting to the Senior QEHS Manager you will ensure that the site is meeting Arla and legal standards relating to environment, (and health and safety) whilst providing input to continuous improvement.
How will you make an impact?
The department supports EHS management systems, trains staff, and maintains site EHS improvement plans. It liaises with authorities, participates in audits, and provides environmental reports. The team ensures continuous improvement, stays updated on environmental legislation, and promotes digital transformation. Additionally, it supports APS transformation, coaches quality teams, and liaises with customers to address issues and coordinate audits for better satisfaction. Some of the key responsibilities are:
- Ensures that the department complies with Arla Foods’ standards, policies as well as applicable law and Environmental permits and procedures and mindset.
- Contributes to driving environment and sustainability agenda, and working on E Projects
- Coordinates EHS activities across departments.
- Contributes to a healthy, inclusive and safe working environment.
- Assists in the development of site specific policies and objectives.
What do you need to succeed?
The successful candidate will have extensive relevant work experience in a relevant discipline as well as a relevant technical or degree qualification. Environmental qualification such as Nebosh certificate in Environmental management or equivalent
