Senior Digital Operations Manager, Foodservice - Aarhus

To succeed with our mission we need talented people in all of our markets – and we need a Senior Digital Operations Manager to join our Arla Pro team to be responsible for develop and drive the global Digital Operations Vision and Strategy in alignment with Group and Market Go to Market strategies. Work location is our innovation centre in Skejby just outside of Aarhus.

The job

You will be manager of the Digital Operations Function and responsible for development of excellence in Customer engagement (Direct to Chef program), Customer Lifecycle and E-commerce solutions together with associated business cases and ensure digital and marketing operation are aligned to optimise activities in support of global and local business plans.


There will be a team of three reporting directly to the new Senior Digital Operations Manager and you will play a key role in building and managing this team


The responsibilities include:

  • Ownership and delivery of the FS global digital strategy with respect to technology platforms and operational excellence.
  • Direct accountability for developing the Strategic roadmap and associated market roll out plans for “Direct to Chef”
  • Lead an above market operational team that focuses on delivery of digital and content needs with respect to D2C engagement
  • Key contributor to global Go to market strategy development and also ensure alignment with markets on their specific Strategic Plans
  • Leading a group-wide community of best practice and functional leaders to facilitate rapid and effective learnings and sharing
  • Recommending optimal roles, structures and competencies required to drive Digital Commercial excellence across diverse markets and regions.
  • Aligning Digital Operations with other FS and group-wide Digital initiatives and functions
  • Managing the seamless interface with the IT function
  • Effectively managing the Digital Operations budget 


The candidate

The right candidate for this challenging position demonstrates 7+ years significant digital       commercial experience , ideally in FMCG.  You will master the route to market/Wholesaler experience, together with a strategic mindset.  


You are able to take ownership and have advanced project leadership skills and are comfortable working across the organisation and navigating among different views and agendas – always with a clear aim to define and drive best-in-class performance. You build relationships across countries and functions thanks to the combination of your skillset and experience together with your strong intellect and constant drive to add ambition – balancing patience and impatience.
