Arla Pro is on an ambitious growth journey, and we are committed to win independent customers digitally.  In this role you will be representing our foodservice business in the Agile Release Train and make sure our needs are prioritized and ultimately met ” says Senior Manager, Digital & E-commerce, Erik Brentjens.

One leg in Business, one leg in IT

As our Product Manager, you will be representing Foodservice in the IT agile release train (ART) management team that builds the future digital ecosystem for our European core markets (‘the Euro Zone’). Your primary task is to secure that the Foodservice IT development teams deliver the scope against the budget. To succeed with that you will collaborate closely with the other ART team members where you oversee Arla Pro’s portfolio of IT solutions, as well as with the Product Owners in the Global Foodservice team.

It is your responsibility to synchronize the delivery of the projects across from the Product Owners, and with your experience in agile, you also coach the Product Owners in their role. In addition, you participate in the PI plannings, present the Roadmap, develop the cost estimates and submit the Lean Business Case (LBC) for Foodservice.

Next to your responsibilities as Product Manager you will be leading cross-functional (SAP) projects through the organization. Your finest task is to collaborate closely with the markets and central teams (IT, Finance, Masterdata, Net Revenue Management) to ensure that the Foodservice business can benefit from structured data, user friendly applications and efficient End-2-End processes.

Further, you will:

  • Coach Business Owners on Agile WoW and expectations from them
  • Act as the escalation point for the business
  • Drive delivery of projects across different teams in IT if needed (“Cross ART”)
  • Define & prioritize Features, PI objectives & Sprint goals for the project(s) you will be leading

As the right candidate for this job, you have experience with agile (ideally SAFe), and  a strong ability to link business needs to IT development. Since the rest of the team has business backgrounds, your background is ideally in IT with an affinity to business.

Furthermore, you have:

  • A master degree level or other relevant education
  • A strong IT understanding gained from 3-5 years’ experience working as IT project manager
  • Advanced English skills both verbal and written
  • Experience with SAP and/or Masterdata will be an advantage
