Internship. Data Governance in R&D

We are seeking a talented and motivated intern to join our Science Strategy and Portfolio Office at the Arla Innovation Centre in Aarhus. We are a diverse and multidisciplined team covering digital developments, data science, Research strategy & governance and portfolio management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain practical experience in Data Governance and Management.

How will you make an impact:

You will work close with our Senior IT Specialist within infrastructure at the innovation center to map data sources as preparation for the next step in our data governance journey. You will collaborate with teams across the whole innovation department, from production and laboratories to product developers, ensuring our data is managed and utilized effectively.

You will be:

• Collaborating with the Innovation teams to identify and document all data sources.
• Preparing a recommendation for ownerships to the data segments.
• Participating in meetings and workshops related to data governance initiatives.
• Contributing to the creation of reports and presentations on data governance progress.

What will make you successful:

We are looking for a proactive and curious person, who is enrolled in a bachelor’s  or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

The internship, either full time or part time, will take place in the fall of 2025, where you will be working out of the Innovation center for the full period.

We expect you:

• Have an interest in data governance and management
• Have a high degree of autonomy, drive, and energy
• Are fluent in written and spoken English
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder skills.
