Do you want a pivotal role in growing Arla Foodservice and the mozzarella category?
We are looking for a passionate and outgoing “mozzarella maestro” who will connect with the biggest global pizza chains and make sure Arla is delivering the best pizza cheese solutions in the world.
As Global Culinary Lead, you will lead and develop our Mozzarella portfolio and culinary agenda. You will seek to engage, excite and enthuse our Arla Pro team and our customers, demonstrating high level of expertise and passion for the Pizza Channel.
This position requires you to be present at the Arla Innovation Center in Aarhus at least one week every month.
How you will make an impact
Reporting to the Category & Innovation Director (Mozzarella & Bakery) and with day-to-day interaction with the Global Senior Category and Innovation Manager, this role would primarily - but not exclusively - provide technical & application expertise, culinary inspiration and channel insights. This role will also support in developing our innovation pipeline specific to the Pizza channel. This will be a direct customer-facing role and therefore the ability to build strong customer relationships will be the key to success.
In this role, you will:
- Own the culinary agenda for the Pizza channel, identifying customer needs and opportunities while also supporting on customer visits and audits
- Proactively support and help build the Mozzarella Centre of Excellence, and you will scope and define development opportunities based on compelling trends, insights and end-user needs
- Apply your culinary skills and spend time in our kitchen, baking pizzas for evaluations and experimenting
- Use your expert view to support the innovation pipeline through ideation, testing and co-creation workshops
- Work closely with production and supply chain to develop our future technology and production road map for mozzarella.
- Build strong insights for training & marketing material, as well as organise internal and external product training
- Become the bastion of product quality, functionality and performance for products within the existing portfolio and in new projects
- Be part of our Arla Pro Global Chef-2-Chef Community.
What will make you successful
We are looking for a passionate Global Culinary Lead with an ability to create relevant commercial opportunities for both key customers and channels. This is a pivotal role, where you will be the voice of the customer and as such, engaging with customers should be one of your key drivers.
We further expect that you:
- Are a passionate foodie with a desire to share your passion in a customer-facing role
- Ideally have practical experience from a professional kitchen, compared with a technical or commercial background
- Have a strong interest in global culinary trends and of the total global foodservice market
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders, both internally and externally
- Are able to travel frequently (approximately 40-50 days on annual basis)
- Communicate in English on a professional level
