Business Development Manager for Innovation - Arhus

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Innovation Organisation and act as a trusted advisor and member of the Innovation Leadership Team.

About the job

As Business Development Manager you support our VP of Innovation in driving transparency and speed in our innovation portfolio to increase innovation impact. You will drive strategic projects and act as a sparring partner for our VP and a wide range of stakeholders on portfolio and project matters. You will be joining and driving the Innovation Leadership Team working across all categories and packaging.

How you will make an impact

• Drive key Business development tasks in terms of defining the next level of portfolio management, conducting analysis, driving decision foundation presentations as support for our VP of Innovation in setting the right portfolio of projects across brands, categories, and markets
• Act as Project Manager on selected strategic projects across Innovation teams e.g. projects on WoW, strategy roll-out, engagement days, customer visits
• Support VP of Innovation in driving Leadership Team meetings, the annual Innovation wheel, progress on selected projects, and ensure communication material for various fora
• Drive the governance processes with the Leadership Team in Product & Innovation ensuring transparency, health and speed in innovation portfolios to increase innovation impact
• Build ad hoc presentations for internal and external use as support for VP for the area.

What will make you successful

The position can be customized to accommodate candidates with varying levels of experience. We are open to considering senior candidates with 6-8 years of experience, as well as junior candidates with 2+ years of experience after graduation. Nevertheless, it is imperative that our new team member possesses a curious mindset and a drive to make a significant impact, irrespective of their level of seniority.

Presumably, you hold a Master's degree and you have experience driving/supporting commercial agendas within a complex organization – maybe in a Business Development Manager or Strategy role. Alternatively, you may have worked as an Executive Assistant to senior management.

Furthermore

• You are an excellent communicator who is driven by stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with innovation colleagues across NPD, Science, Nutrition, Design & Connect and Technology, but also with Finance, Supply Chain and Marketing, hence the ability to engage with and influence a wide stakeholder group is key
• You are comfortable with large datasets, able to conduct a variety of analyses and to present clear conclusions and recommendations to others
• We expect you to be self-driven, independent, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• You have high business acumen and are always ready to learn
• You enjoy both putting together engaging presentations and delivering them
• You are structured and can plan a process, thinking 5 steps forward towards a leadership meeting to ensure all necessary steps are taken to deliver the best and most constructive meeting
• Finally, you are fluent in English both written and spoken
